Ranking Process for HUD CoC NOFA Bakersfield/Kern

11/5/2015

November 4, 2015: The KCHC CoC Planning and Performance Committee approved the Ranking Panel prioritized list and presented it to the Governing Board for a vote. The members who are non-conflicting and do not receive HUD CoC funding unanimously approved the list to be submitted in the consolidated application for funding.

REALLOCATION PROCESS 2015

October 30, 2015: The KCHC wishes to thank the Ranking Panel for their expertise and gifts of their time and dedication. Mark Smith, Francis Moore, Imelda Ceja-Butkiewicz, Ryan Bland and Sal Moretti provided their input, time and analysis expertise. In addittion Gene Saint-Amand provided technical review for all grantees and his time was tremendously appreciated as well. NEXT STEP: The CoC Planning and Performance Committee will meet Wednesday, November 4, 9am at the Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault to review and/or endorse the Ranking Guide and discuss next steps.

RANKING PANEL - RANKED PROJECTS   All submitted projects were accepted and ranked.

October 20, 2015: The 2015 competition for the 2016-2017 year includes renewal grant applications from these agencies whose "Letters of Intent" (LOI) were approved for the competitive process: HMIS Data Lead - Kern County Mental Health; permanent supportive housing - Bakersfield Homeless Center, California Veterans Assistance Foundation, Clinica Sierra Vista, Housing Authority County of Kern and Flood Bakersfield Ministries. Renewal supportive services grants include: Bakersfield Homeless Center and Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance. Renewal transitional housing grants include: Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault, Clinica Sierra Vista and Women's Center High Desert. New permanent supportive services grants include: Bakersfield Homeless Center, Clinica Sierra Vista, and the Housing Authority County of Kern. No LOIs were denied.
