| Once Homeless, 2 KCHC Colleagues Get SOAR Training |

The Kern County Homeless Collaborative (KCHC) will hold its second SOAR Training next week (May 28-31) at Greater Bakersfield Legal Assistance, to certify 21 local case managers and benefits specialists on a best-practices method that expedites access to Social Security disability assistance for homeless persons with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
